What are we learning this week?

Reading

With Halloween coming, we will read a narrative
nonfictions story called Bat Loves the Night. Our
story skills: sequencing, domain specific
vocabulary, and suffixes. Our summative
assessment will be next week.

Language
Arts

We will learn about irregular nouns and possessive
nouns. Our summative will be next week. Our
spelling test/formative will be Friday.
October Spelling Contract is due by November 1 st.
We will review on Monday and take our Chapter 3
summative on Tuesday.

Math

We have been working really hard on arrays. We
will do a fun Monster-plication project next week to
show off our array awesomeness.

Social Studies We will continue our life cycles of plants and
animals unit. For social studies, we will begin
& Science
Chapter 2-Goods and Services.
