Background Warehousing Application Functionality Benefits Background The Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) program is administered by the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, a branch of the Office of the Secretary of Defense. The DPAS software application is serving the logistical needs of three
major military branches and a significant portion of the Department of Defense. DPAS was selected by Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Installations and Logistics (I&L) to perform as the primary accountability and equipment management system for the Consolidated Storage Program (CSP). DPAS will replace the Mechanization of Warehousing and Shipping Procedures (MOWASP) system for managing warehouse operations at the wholesale level (Marine Corps Logistics Command). Background Cont.
